Our journey: From Vision to Action

At Planet Rescue Ghana, we believe that environmental sustainability and social welfare are two sides of the same coin. Founded by Peter Ameyaw and co-partners, our mission is to mobilize youth and stakeholders to bridge the gap between poverty and opportunity through environmental responsibility and strategic partnerships.

Spotlight: The 2024 Nkoranza Outreach Initiative

In July 2024, Planet Rescue Ghana marked a major milestone in our mission. In a powerful collaboration with the BACCSOD Ladies Network (BACCSOD – A Catholic faith based Corporative Credit Union), we led a transformative outreach program supporting the Peace of Christ Foundation in Nkoranza.

The Impact at a Glance:

• Financial Contribution: We facilitated a donation of GHS 20,000 to support the foundation’s operations.
• Essential Supplies: Provided critical food supplies, sanitary products, and household items.
• Community Care: Direct support was given to the orphanage and community care center, ensuring vulnerable children and individuals received immediate relief.

This initiative reinforced our core belief: Youth-led action produces measurable, meaningful impact when supported by strong partnerships.

The Road Ahead: Techiman Sustainable Livestock Project

Building on the momentum of Nkoranza, we are now turning our focus toward Sustainable Economic Empowerment in the Techiman enclave (Bono East Region).

We are launching a Technical Livestock Training Programme designed to transform unemployed youth into professional agribusiness owners.

• The Problem: High youth unemployment and farm failures due to a lack of technical knowledge.
• The Solution: Practical, hands-on training for selected youth in Poultry (Layers/Broilers) and Piggery management.
• The Goal: Equipping the next generation with biosecurity expertise, disease control (ASF prevention), and enterprise management skills.

2. Teacher Development: Hosting workshops to modernize teaching methods.
3. Vocational Skills: Establishing centers for carpentry, plumbing, and IT.
4. Entrepreneurship: Providing seed funding and "incubator" support for young start-ups.
5. Mentorship: Offering academic scholarships and career guidance to navigate the future.
